Canine Intelligence Lab

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 Canine Intelligence Lab explores the evolution of social cognition through puzzles, games, and activities designed to test dogs’ social intelligence and provide mental enrichment for canine participants.

Our current research explores the evolution of social decision making, emotional perception, inhibitory control, and executive functioning.

Is your dog ready to become a canine scholar?

We are now recruiting canine participants for the Fall 2024 semester! Our studies explore social cognition with fun, games, and treats.

Our study sessions last 30-45 minutes. During your session, your dog will complete a series of puzzles and games which will simultaneously help us understand dogs’ minds and provide mental enrichment for your dog. You are also welcome to bring any human family members and friends who would like to observe the studies.
